Fraxel DUAL laser is a safe, non-invasive treatment that can rejuvenate damaged skin. Fraxel® DUAL is the latest most effective offering form the Fraxel technology umbrella incorporating both the 1550 and 1927 wavelengths which target both the surface and deeper layers creating both restorative and resurfacing clinical outcomes for our patients, removing years from their appearance and delivering a more youthful look.
Fraxel ® DUAL uses patented fractional technology to target damaged skin with microscopic laser columns that penetrate deep into the skin. The laser treats a fraction of tissue at a time, leaving the surrounding tissue untouched, which facilitates rapid healing. This stimulates your body’s own natural healing process, replacing the old and damaged cells with new, healthy ones.
The Fraxel Dual laser treats approximately 20% of the skin with each session. The number of treatments necessary will vary depending on how much collagen remodelling is needed. Usually three to five treatments spaced over a three to six month period are required.

Recovery After Laser Skin Resurfacing
Depending on the level of the treatment, patients may experience redness or swelling immediately after the procedure. The skin will bronze over the next couple of days and then flake and exfoliate, revealing a fresh and smooth appearance.
